The NT (Nuchal Translucency) scan is emerging to be one of the most important scans in screening for fetal chromosomal anomalies and early detection of fetal structural anomalies.
A delegate will not only learn to measure the CRL and NT (Nuchal Translucency) correctly as per the FMF guidelines but also assess the detailed anatomy of the fetus and diagnose major lethal anomalies early in pregnancy.
There will be video demonstrations and discussions of normal and abnormal cases which will enable you to understand the presentation of various anomalies and their management in the first trimester.
The unique feature of this training program is the ability to submit CRL and NT images online at regular intervals for review and objective feedback by the specialists. Delegates are required to obtain 50 good images for NT and CRL views each. Image submission and review process continues until this goal is achieved.
This is an intensive interactive online training program designed to enhance your skills in performing the first-trimester scan. This blended learning program is conducted by FMF(UK) trained and accredited fetal medicine specialists who will also provide continual mentoring for the duration of the program. Also, the program is designed for practicing imaging specialists without any interruption of their regular practice. Many international professional bodies including the International Society of Prenatal Diagnosis (ISPD) recommend that all pregnant mothers must be offered this option of first-trimester screening and diagnosis.
